Emily is the owner and director of Bondi Bum, an outdoor group and personal training company in Sydney, NSW.
Working with her team of trainers, everyday Emily helps turn the lives of clients around – from helping beginners to get outside, move around and reap the benefits of basic exercises…to coaching clients through half marathons, marathons and triathlons.
With a huge passion for health and fitness, Bondi Bum focuses on the individual goals of a client and marries up exercise, nutrition and a healthy lifestyle to help people achieve their dreams of a healthier, fitter existence.
Emily trains outdoors every day with her clients and is a strong believer that anyone, anywhere can exercise, and more importantly anyone, anywhere can enjoy exercise. “Exercise doesn’t have to be something that people fear or can’t do. In its most basic form, exercise is movement and that is what our bodies are made to do…move! By increasing or decreasing the range of movement, the type of movement, the speed of movement, all appropriately to the individual, we can all exercise.”
Seeing clients reach their goals is why Emily loves being a trainer, she says “the big smile on someone’s face when they have lost weight, completed push ups on their toes, ran 12km or touched their toes (with straight legs while standing) for the first time since being a kid is fantastic! To witness someone improve themselves, be proud of themselves and become a different person because of exercising is an amazing feeling and makes me proud to be their trainer.”
